Xiaomi ha rilasciato un nuovo aggiornamento della sua ROM proprietaria, la MIUI che raggiunge così la versione 5.7.9.
Il nuovo firmware contiene moltissimi bug fix ed al alcune nuove funzionalità per il controllo dei dati utilizzati e per il market proprietario Xiaomi.
