Huawei P20 Lite è stato il primo smartphone della nuova serie ad essere presentato al pubblico dal colosso cinese. Si caratterizza per un display da 5.84 pollici di diagonale con un piccolo notch che accoglie la fotocamera anteriore con i vari sensori. L’aspect ratio è 19:9 con tecnologia IPS LCD e risoluzione Full HD+. Sotto la scocca troviamo un processore HiSilicon Kirin 659, lo stesso presente sui modelli Honor 7X, Honor 9 Lite e Huawei Mate 10 Lite, coadiuvato da 4 GB di RAM e 64 GB di memoria interna espandibile tramite microSD sacrificando lo slot dual SIM.

Posteriormente è presente una dual camera con sensori da 16 + 2 mega-pixel con apertura f/2.2, anteriormente invece è presente una fotocamera da 16 mega-pixel con apertura f/2.0. Al centro del lato posteriore troviamo il lettore d’impronte digitali che risulta preciso e facile da raggiungere. Completano la dotazione hardware una batteria da 3000 mAh che garantisce una buona autonomia, il tutto è mosso dalla ben nota interfaccia personalizzata di Huawei, ovvero la EMUI qui in versione 8.0 basata su Android 8.0 Oreo.
