Xiaomi Mi 9 si aggiorna alla MIUI 12 Global/EEA Stable | Download

Dopo l’arrivo a bordo di Xiaomi Mi 9T e Mi 9T Pro, è il turno di Xiaomi Mi 9 a ricevere l’aggiornamento alla MIUI 12 EEA Stable. Era previsto nella roadmap ufficiale e adesso tutti i possessori in Europa dell’ex top di gamma possono beneficiare dell’ultima interfaccia dell’azienda.

Aggiornamento 12/10: l’aggiornamento con la MIUI 12 EEA sta arrivando anche sulle unità di Mi 9 brandizzate Vodafone. Ve ne parliamo a fine articolo.

Trattandosi di una release ufficiale, e non di una ROM che circola in rete, la MIUI 12 EEA Stable per Xiaomi Mi 9 è stata rilasciata sotto forma di update OTA.

Aggiornamento 12/10

Dopo quelle standard, anche le unità di Xiaomi Mi 9 brandizzate Vodafone si stanno iniziando ad aggiornare alla MIUI 12 EEA Stable Beta. L’update riguarda la build V12.0.1.0.QFAEUVF, al quale seguirà (speriamo in tempi brevi) l’aggiornamento definitivo con il firmware stabile.

Come installare la MIUI 12 Stabile

Le recovery ROM sono file ZIP che possono essere installate in locale o tramite modalità recovery (sia stock che TWRP).

• Modalità locale
  1. Trasferisci il file ZIP nello smartphone nella cartella “downloaded_rom” della memoria principale, createla nel caso non ci fosse
  2. Andate in “Settings/About Phone/System Update“, cliccate sui 3 pallini in alto a destra e selezionate “Choose Update Package” (se non ci fosse, cliccate 10 volte sul logo MIUI nella schermata precedente)
  3. Selezionate il file ZIP ed installatelo
• Modalità recovery
  1. Rinominate il file scaricato in “update.zip” e spostatelo nella directory principale della memoria nello smartphone
  2. Riavviate lo smartphone in modalità recovery tenendo premuto da spento contemporaneamente il tasto Power ed il tasto Volume Su
  3. Scorrendo con i tasti del volume e selezionate l’opzione “Install update.zip” premendo il tasto Power
  4. Installatelo e scegliete “Reboot” nel caso non si riavviasse da solo
