Probably, it will be in many wondered if the Meizu MX series had as its last device the MX5. The answer is no, even the most correct is: Meizu MX6.
We have seen how recently, the chinese company, has been very active in having renewed the line of its mid-range device, with the Meizu M3 Notes, and entry level, with Meizu M3S.

There is no doubt that Meizu, in the panorama of the brand of chinese smartphones, has found out a major place inside the market.
Credit for this success is definitely in the excellent quality/price ratio of its devices and beyond. From entry-level device, up to those high-end, the build quality is always excellent and Meizu MX6 is the proof.
Although we are faced with a device with a 5.5-inch diagonal screen, the dimensions are well optimized in fact we find 153.6 x 75.2 x 7.25 mm and equal to 155 grams. What surprising just picked up the device is definitely the thickness accomplices roundness of the rear body that makes easier the grip.
The back shell is made entirely of aluminum, and provide the new design similar as the Meizu Pro 6. The thin white stripes, top and bottom, make much more streamlined design than polycarbonate views on M3 Notes and M3S.
Also in the center rear area, at the top, we find the main camera with a Sony IMX386 sensor 12 mega-pixels and f/2.0 with focus PDAF and just below a dual LED dual tone flash.
As for the arrangement of keys, as the other Meizu device, on the right side there is the lock/power on/off button, followed by the volume rocker. On the left side, instead, the sim card tray for accommodating two SIM in nano size .
On the bottom edge we have, as seen in the Pro 6, starting from the right the speaker system, the USB input Type- C 3.1, with support for fast charging system mCharge 3.0, the main microphone mini-jack input. On the upper profile, however, we can find only the second microphone to suppress ambient noise.
On the front side, then, we have the key mBack Meizu, implemented with the fingerprint reader with mTouch 2.1 technology. Above the front camera with 5 mega-pixel sensor and aperture f/2.0, the earbud, light and proximity sensors and a notification LED.
The display, as we said, is a unit Sharp IPS LCD 5.5 inch diagonal and Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with a 403 PPI density.
Meizu MX6: hardware for top device!
And here we come to the interesting hardware sector that offers the new Meizu MX6.
In fact, the Meizu MX6 shows the SoC top of the range of Mediatek, MT6797 aka Helio X20.
We speak of a deca-core CPU, 64-bit architecture in 3 clusters; 2 x 2.3 GHz Cortex-A72 + 4 x 2 GHz Cortex-A53 + 4 x 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53.
Beyond that, there are a GPU ARM Mali-T880 MP4, 4GB LPDDR3 RAM and 32 GB of internal memory(also available with 64 GB).
Continuing, the connectivity is guaranteed by the support dual SIM 4G LTE Cat.6, as well as Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac Dual Band, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A- GPS/ GLONASS and Beidou.
At the software level, the sample in question spots on board Android 6.0 Marshmallow, with a proprietary OS Flyme 5.2.0.0A interface. Although it really should come to market with Flyme 5.5.
Finally, the built-in battery is a unit here, not removable, 3000 mAh, supports mCharge 3.0 standard.
For sure this is a very interesting device, with leading hardware features, which of course will deepen in the course of our full review which will soon to be published.

The Meizu MX6 will be on sale from next July in the Asian market at a price of 1999 yuan, about 269 euro for the 32GB version.
