Realme 5 è il nuovo modello di fascia mid-range del produttore sub-brand di OPPO. Dopo il grosso traguardo raggiunto dalla nuova realtà in ambito mobile, il terminale riprende gli stilemi del suo predecessore evolvendoli. A partire dal look, con una nuova finitura Nano Holographic disponibile nelle varianti Crystal Purple e Crystal Blue.
Sul davanti troviamo un pannello LCD con notch a goccia, ovvero un display da 6.5″ HD+ con rapporto di forma in 20:9 ed una screen-to-body ratio dell’89%. Il tutto in dimensioni di 164.4 x 75.6 x 9.3 mm ed un peso di 198 g, con all’interno un’ampia batteria da 5000 mAh con ricarica da 10W. Ciò alimenta il comparto hardware, capitanato dal chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 prodotto ad 11 nm. Questo include una CPU octa-core a 2.0 GHz, una GPU Adreno 610, 3/4 GB di RAM e 32/64/128 GB di storage espandibile via microSD fino a 256 GB.
Molta importanza è stata data al comparto fotografico, a partire dalla quad camera posteriore da 12+8+2+2 mega-pixel. Il sensore primario f/1.8 è affiancato da un grandangolare con FoV da 119°, un sensore Macro ed uno dedicato alla modalità Ritratto. I selfie sono invece scattati da un singolo sensore da 13 mega-pixel con apertura f/2.0. Lato software troviamo un sistema operativo Android 9.0 Pie con interfaccia proprietaria ColorOS 6.
