OnePlus 8T è uno dei top gamma 5G presentato ad fine 2020 dal produttore, con una scheda tecnica che si basa sul SoC Snapdragon 865. La scocca in vetro e metallo è disponibile nelle colorazioni Aquamarine Green e Lunar Silver. Ha dimensioni di 160,7 x 74,1 x 8.4 mm ed un peso di 188 g, con un display AMOLED da 6,55″ Full HD+ con refresh rate a 120 Hz. Oltre al riconoscimento facciale 2D, lo sblocco avviene tramite il sensore ID nel display di tipo ottico.

Il cuore della scheda tecnica è il chipset Snapdragon, con una CPU octa-core Kryo 585 (1 x 2,84 GHz + 3 x 2,42 GHz + 4 x 1,8 GHz) ed una GPU Adreno 650. Lato memorie abbiamo tagli da 8/128 GB 12/256 GB e non manca una batteria da 4.500 mAh con ricarica rapida 65W. Il software è gestito da Android 11 con interfaccia proprietaria OxygenOS 11.
