Il Samsung Galaxy Note 5 è un phablet prodotto nel 2015 ed appartenente alla categoria di fascia alta.
Dal punto di vista del design, abbiamo un device con scocca in vetro ed alluminio, caratterizzato da un’unità display Super AMOLED da 5.7 pollici di diagonale con risoluzione 2K 2560 x 1440 pixel, protezione Corning Gorilla Glass 4 ed una densità di pixel di 516 PPI.
Lato hardware il Samsung Galaxy Note 5 è mosso dal processore octa–core Samsung Exynos 7 Octa 7420 con architettura ARMv8-A a 64 bit: 4 x Cortex-A57 da 2.1 GHz + 4 x Cortex-A53 da 1.5 GHz. La parte grafica è affidata alla GPU ARM Mali-T760 MP8, mentre lato memorie troviamo 4 GB di RAM LPDDR4 e 32/64 GB di memoria interna di tipo UFS 2.0 non espandibile.
Il device è caratterizzato da una fotocamera posteriore da 13 mega-pixel con sensore Sony IMX240 o Samsung S5K2P2 (a seconda del mercato), f/1.9, OIS autofocus PDAF e flash LED. La fotocamera anteriore, invece, è caratterizzata da un sensore da 5 mega-pixel con sensore Samsung S5K4E6 ed f/1.9.
